We had an amazing journey to America today! The children looked like authentic immigrants in their creative costumes, and they did an incredible job at Ellis Island. I was so impressed with their ability to take on the role of their immigrant. Many thanks to all of our parents for helping your child prepare for their role, put together costumes, make declicious food, and assisting in the simulation.
Here's a look at what we are learning:
Math: Factors, Fractions
Science: Matter
Social Studies: Immigration
Reading: Relating texts to our own lives.
Next Week:

**Please have your child in our classroom by 6:00.
When your child leaves after the performance, please have them say good-bye to me so I know they left with you.
Wednesday: Movie Reward Day

Have a great weekend!
