Future Dodgen Sixth Graders and Parents

   An RSVP is required for this event!

 Dear Future Dodgen Sixth Graders and Parents,

 

We extend a warm welcome to you as new members of the Dodgen “Family”. During the next few months and throughout the summer we will be involved in preparing for the opening of the 2010-2011 School Year.  This will be a special time.

 

Please mark May 3, 2010 on your calendars

Parent Orientation on May 3, 2010, begins with a 6:30 PM general meeting in the Dodgen Theater.

Fifth Grade student Orientation on May 3, 2010 begins at 6:30 PM. Current Dodgen 6^th graders will lead tours around Dodgen before all students gather in the cafeteria for an informational session.

Parents: Two optional informational meetings start at 5:45 PM:

·     Special Education (Academy Lab)

·     Advanced Learning Program (Cafeteria)

We look forward to meeting you on May 3rd in preparation for a fantastic sixth grade year!

Parents, please be advised that effective July 1, 2007 for entrance into grade six (6), students are required to have a total of

• Two (2) doses of measles vaccine,
• Two (2) doses of mumps vaccine,
• One (1) dose of rubella vaccine and
• Two (2) doses of varicella (chickenpox) vaccine.

Students must have these immunizations marked COMPLETE FOR SCHOOL ATTENDANCE on a Georgia form 3231.  Please be sure your child’s immunizations are up to date prior to exiting fifth grade.

 

·     also required - a completed  3300 Form (Hearing, Vision and Dental Certificate)
