Field Trip
Drop off time – 6:30AM – No earlier, as there will be no adult supervision until 6:30AM. Please drop off your child in FRONT of the SCHOOL following car pool regulations. Do not park or come in with your child as this creates a huge traffic jam on Murdock Road.
Pick up time – 6:30PM – Be on time for pick up. All students MUST be picked up by a PARENT unless we have a note IN ADVANCE with an original signature. We cannot legally release your child to anyone else and cannot take email or phone call dismissal changes. You must park in a designated parking space and walk to meet your child in the covered play area. DO NOT park in the area in front of the cafeteria/covered play area as that will mean the field trip buses cannot get on campus to park. That area is for buses only. Parents should park in actual parking spaces.
IMPORTANT REMINDERS AND RULES:
· All students should wear their class t-shirt and tennis shoes.
· Snack items may be taken on the bus. This cannot be popcorn, nuts, etc. as it cannot be something where “pieces” will fall on the floor/seats of the bus. No chocolate or gum is allowed. Trash bags are provided and should be used.
· Water bottles have to be plastic and have a cap that seals. No soft drinks. Everything should be disposable.
· Bathrooms on the bus are for emergency use only – breaks will be provided.
· Students must remain seated on the bus, facing forward.
· Window shades may not be used.
· A movie will be shown on the bus
· No electronic devices may be taken on the trip.
· No cameras are allowed.
· Books, cards, etc. are allowed for the bus.
· Any items brought on the trip are the responsibility of the student – every year some are broken or lost, so please take this into consideration.
· We will not have time to visit the gift shop, so no money is needed on the trip.
· Lunch is at a restaurant that will be filled with other customers, many of whom are retired. Best manners and inside voices should be used at all times.
