On Saturday, October 3 visit Historic Westville to learn about life during the Civil War from a slave, Union and Confederate soldiers, and Abe and Mary Lincoln. Additionally, residents of this small southern town portray many aspects of life on the homefront during the Civil War. This family event is a great opportunity to gain understanding of the Civil War from many perspectives.
Historic Westville is a mid-nineteenth century open air musuem and living history village with more than 30 historic structures. It is in Lumpkin, Georgia, approximately 30 miles from Columbus. Admission is $10 and includes all activities.
