The children are working on learning expectations and routines. You can help by encouraging your child to remember the 3 R's. Respect for self, others, and property are essential to a productive year.
The Monkey's have brought home their red evaluation folder the last 2 Fridays. Please ask your child to see it if they do not already hand it to you when they arrive home. Each week should be signed by a parent/gaurdian and then returned on Monday. If you have any concerns or questions, please email me.
Each day this week a green homework folder has been sent home. The children have had a math practice sheet to complete each night. Once I see it and check for completness and concerns, I will place it in the pocket marked home so that your child may keep it for review.
Now that homework is beginning to come home, please make sure your child has the tools available to do their best work. Pencils are a must. Crayons, scissors, glue, and paper will be needed for some of the assignments. If there is a quiet place that your child and you can work together, you may want to store the tools there for convenience. Remember to make this time an interactive time. Your involvement will contribute to your child's growth.
