Ret.Commander Levinge from the US Navy came on Veteran's Day for a special presentation. The students were very interested in learning what Naval aviators do for their career and how veterans have served their county. The students were amazed at the video showing how S3 Jets land on carriers in the ocean.
We were very excited to have Dr. VanBrackle from Kennesaw State University to visit us and teach two excellent lessons on telling time, counting money, and making change. She created a puzzle/game where students count money and make change. It was fun and a great learning experience!
