2nd Grade Creek and Cherokee Celebration

Everyone certainly enjoyed the activites from the 2nd grade Creek and Cherokee Celebration.  I think stick ball was a favorite that day!  Thanks to all the parents who sent the food that represented the Native American diet.  It was delicious!  The students did a great job making the woven placemats, the corn husk dolls, and the beaded/shell necklaces.  We appreciate all the donations to make this day a success and possible for the students to experience Creek and Cherokee cultures of the past.
