We are looking forward to presenting WellStar's Wheel Wise Program next week. Please let all teachers on your team know we are coming
and that we will need their presence in the classroom to help with classroom management. We will need access to a
TV/DVD in each classroom for one of the activities of the program.

I have attached the Wheel Wise take home handout as well as the new booster seat law.
Please share with your team and let them know they can make copies to send home with the parents or post on their website. Please confirm receipt of e-mail.

If you need more information or resources for students regarding car seats and booster seats, please call: (770) 793-7185 or
visit http://www.safekidscobbcounty.org/ .

**Reminder: Please let each teacher know that we need them to be actively listening and involved with the lesson.
Our duty is not to discipline the students, but to teach them a beneficial lesson on a specific health topic. Please do not leave the classroom unless you have another teacher present to watch your class. Thank you.

Thank you!

We are winding down in our studies. I still have kids that are forgetting things every day. I am also battling summer fever. It is hard to keep them on task when they want to go out and play.

Tuesday we have Field Day opening ceremonies, Media center and computer lab. Our lunch is changed to 12:23

Lunch is at 12:02

Thursday – Our VIP Meet Greet is at 1:00. All parts of the project should be complete and your child should be “in character”

Friday – Many things will start coming home. Come to school with empty bags, go home with a full one.

Curriculum Briefing:
Our VIP project emcompasses all of reading and writing. We are working diligently on that.
In math we have been trying to find the perimeter and area of odd shapes. There are many who are still confused. Ask your child to show you
