Attendance Reminder

Just a reminder that a note or phone call will be made when your child has had 3 un-excused absences. Please send in excuses within three days of the absence.

 

Math:

subtraction of 3 and 4 digit numbers with and without regrouping

Solving word problems with exact and estimated answers

Using repeated addition and arrays to solve multiplication facts

Students will begin taking strip tests to practice learning multiplication facts for 2,3,4,5, and 10

 

Writing:

Publishing personal narratives

Writing letters of appreciation to bus drivers

 

Reading:

Reading for pleasure and for information- Students are reading a just right book independently to take an AR test or Book Adventure comprehension test

 

Science:

Investigate fossils- what are they and how are they formed?
