Project Mail Call
This holiday season our students & families will have the opprtunity to participate in a special community outreach project that supports our troops through Operation Homefront & Murdock's Brownie Troop 2058. Project Mail Call is different from other military support projects because it provides our troops with personalized care packages that are customized to specific military units needs & requests.
When we return from Thanksgiving break through the beginning of Winter break there will be a bin in the foyer of the school where the items we donate will be collected. All items should be new, unopened, not expired, & not home-made. Each grade level will be bringing different items.
Kindergarten: chicken/tuna packets, Little Debbie snack cakes, shaving cream, razors, Sudoku books
First Grade: beef jerky (Slim Jims), lip balm, sunscreen (30+), eye drops, playing cards
Second Grade: individual sunflower seed packets, gum, dental floss, crossword puzzle books
Third Grade: individual trail mix packets, individual-sized peanut packets, toothpaste, toothbrushes
Fourth Grade: powdered drink mix for single bottles of water, white athletic socks, word-find books
Fifth Grade: Nutrition/Energy bars, baby wipes, underarm deoderant, stationary/note cards
In additon, students at any grade level may donate used or new CDs & DVDs which the troops love to receive. Thank you for supporting our troops through your generous donations.
