Monday, 10/6 - 2nd/3rd grade morning walk; Kids Chess

Tuesday, 10/7 - School Store for K-2

Wednesday, 10/8 - National Walk to School Day (in the morning); 2nd Grade Field Trip to the Funk Heritage Center; Blood Drive - after school in the gym; Square One Art forms go home; Yom Kippur begins at sundown

Thursday, 10/9 - Yom Kippur until sundown

Friday, 10/10 - Spirit Day

Saturday, 10/11 - Make a Wish Run at Marietta Square

Monday, 10/13 - 2nd/3rd Morning Walk

Tuesday, 10/14 - Fall Picture Day Make-ups

Wednesday, 10/15 - Early Release Day (Students are dismissed 2 hours earlier); 2nd/3rd Morning Walk

Friday, 10/17 - Report Card Distribution; Spirit Day - Safari Book Fair kick-off Day - dress in patterns (like stripes, polka dots, animal prints, camo, etc.); Book Fair Grand Opening 5:30 - 7:30; Kids Chess

Come join me this Thursday at 6:30! I will be introducing myself and telling you more about the class and some of the exciting events this year. We will also be talking about the new second grade report cards and grading. I look forward to seeing you there! 

Reminder: Picture Day is FRIDAY!

Picture Day is this Friday!  It's not too late to purchase or send in money.  It is all due by Friday.  Pictures are pre-paid only.  If you need anoter envelope, just jot me a note or send an email.

Note:  Dates may change and more may be added later, so keep checking!

Important CRCT Information:

Wed. April 23rd. all students will take the  Reading section of the CRCT
Thurs. April 24th all students will take the Language Arts section of the CRCT
Fri. April 25th all students will take the Math section.

Monday, April 28th Grades 3-5 will take the Science section of the CRCT
Tuesday, April 29th Grades 3-5 will take the Social Studies section of the CRCT

Testing will begin at 8:15 a. m.

2nd Grade does not test Science and Social Studies!
