Field Trip

Bus We have a field trip scheduled on Tuesday, March 10.  We will be going to the Tellus Science Museum.  If your child signed up to bring a lunch, please make sure it is in a disposablebag.  Please do not send items that need refrigeration.  There is no guarantee that it can stay cool.  Please remind your child to be on his or her best behavior.  We look forward to this great trip!

Six Flags Reading Challenge

Sixhourreadingclub_logo Time is ticking away!  The Six Flags Reading Challenge is almost over.  I only have a few people turn in the reading log forms!  Even if you don't have the original form, you can print off a copy or keep a log on a piece of paper.  There must be a parent signature to qualify!  The form below is not the "official" form that came from Six Flags, but it provides the same information.  Good Luck!!

Bring in Your Pop Tabs!

Tab The Student Council is requesting school-wide participation in saving "Tabs" for the program "Pull for Ronald McDonald House Charities".  The recycled beverage tabs help support your local Ronald Mcdonald House which is a temporary "home-away-from-home" for families of seriously ill children being treated at nearby hospitals. THANKS FOR PARTICIPATING! For more information go to

www.rmhc.org. We are offering this program to show compassion and share with families in need.

The tabs can be from any pull-tab cans (like sodas, soup, etc...).  There is a collection box in the classroom.

Scholastic Book Orders

I just put a new Scholastic book order online this afternoon.  Students will bring home the flyers Friday.  Please see the attached note on instructions on how to place an order!  Orders will be placed on February 28th!
