Good afternoon! Can you believe we have been in school for two weeks already? Time flies when you are having fun! I just wanted to update everyone on the upcoming events and topics that fourth grade will be learning about in the coming weeks.

Topics will be learning about:

Reading-Guided reading begins with nonfiction weather related books

Language Arts-Personal narratives and memory box project (sent home on Monday)

Grammar-Subjects, predicates and types of sentences

Spelling-Sorts and vocabulary, assessments on both on Friday

Math-Expressions, patterns and beginning two digit times two digit multiplication

Science-Water Cycle and Weather

Social Studies-Maps and Native Americans
